2006–07 Irish First Division
The 2006–07 Irish First Division was the twelfth season of second-tier football in Northern Ireland under the league system at the time. The 2006–07 First Division consisted of 12 clubs.

Location of teams in the 2006–07 Irish First Division
Institute were the champions and were promoted to the 2007–08 Irish Premier League. Bangor finished second and entered the promotion play-off, but lost 1–0 on aggregated to Glenavon who retained their place in the top tier. Ballinamallard United and Moyola Park were relegated to the Irish Second Division.[1]
