2024–25 Hull City A.F.C. season

The 2024–25 season is the 121st season in the history of Hull City Association Football Club and their fourth consecutive season in the Championship. In addition to the domestic league, the club would also participate in the FA Cup, and the EFL Cup.

Events

  • On 31 May 2024, Tim Walter was appointed as the new manager of the club and would take up the post on 1 July 2024.[1]
  • On 28 June 2024, it was announced that George Dickinson would join on a free transfer from Sheffield United on 1 July 2024, once his contract with them expired.[2]

Pre-season and friendlies

On 12 June, Hull City confirmed two pre-season friendlies against Doncaster Rovers and Reading.[10] Two weeks later, a home fixture versus Fiorentina was announced.[11] A fourth friendly was later added, against Newcastle United.[12]

Hull City are set to start the season on 10 August 2024 with a home fixture against Bristol City, and to finish it on 3 May 2025 with an away trip to Fratton Park to face newly promoted Portsmouth.[14]
