2024 Arizona Diamondbacks season

The 2024 Arizona Diamondbacks season is the franchise's 27th season in Major League Baseball and their 27th season at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona, as members of the National League West. They are managed by Torey Lovullo in his eighth season with the franchise. They enter the season as the defending National League champions and runner-ups of the World Series. They also opened this season with their best opening game in franchise history to date with a 16–1 blowout win at home over the Colorado Rockies. After starting the game with two runs in the first inning and a Rockies run in the second, the Diamondbacks responded with a new franchise record for runs in an inning with 14 runs scored in the bottom of the third inning.
