2025 MotoGP World Championship
The 2025 FIM MotoGP World Championship is the premier class of the 77th Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) Road Racing World Championship season, the highest level of competition in motorcycle road racing.

All teams will use series-specified Michelin tyres.[12]
Team changes
- Red Bull Gas Gas Tech3 reverted to the KTM Tech 3 Name and will use factory spec bikes.[8]
Rider changes
- Fermin Aldeguer signed a Ducati contract to race for one of Ducati's satellite teams on a factory deal. The team chosen is unknown due to the future of Pramac Racing as a Ducati Factory Satellite team.[13]
- Aleix Espargaro announced his Retirement from Racing at the 2024 Catalan Grand Prix.[14]
- Pedro Acosta signed for the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team alongside Brad Binder, he replaces Jack Miller.[15]
- Marc Marquez and Jorge Martín were Linked with the Lenovo Ducati Factory Squad all throughout the first half of the season as the top performing Ducati's. In Barcelona and Mugello, it was set to be confirmed that Jorge Martin would replace Bastianini, but after the Italian Grand Prix weekend, it was reported that Marquez was chosen to replace Bastianini. During the Mugello Test, Jorge Martin announced that he would be joining Aprilia Racing, replacing the retiring Aleix Espargaro.[1] 2 days later, Lenovo Ducati announced that Marc Marquez would join the Factory Squad alongside Francesco Bagnaia.[4]
- KTM announced Enea Bastianini and Maverick Viñales would join their Tech3 Team, replacing Pedro Acosta and Augusto Fernandez.[8]
- Aprilia Racing announced that Marco Bezzecchi would join alongside Jorge Martín, replacing Maverick Viñales.[2]

Points are awarded to the top fifteen finishers of the main race and to the top nine of the sprint. A rider has to finish the race to earn points.
