Bielsk, Masovian Voivodeship

Bielsk [bjɛlsk] is a village in Płock County, Masovian Voivodeship, in central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Bielsk.[1] It lies approximately 16 kilometres (10 mi) north-east of Płock and 96 km (60 mi) north-west of Warsaw.

Bielsk was granted Chełmno town rights in 1373.

Sport

Bielsk is home to the amateur football club Ludowy Klub Sportowy (LKS) Zryw Bielsk, established in 1955.[2] The club currently competes in the Klasa okręgowa (grupa płocka)[3] league's 6th division.
