Bujanov

Bujanov (German: Angern) is a municipality and village in Český Krumlov District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 600 inhabitants.

Bujanov lies approximately 16 kilometres (10 mi) south-east of Český Krumlov, 31 km (19 mi) south of České Budějovice, and 154 km (96 mi) south of Prague.

Administrative parts

The villages of Skoronice, Suchdol and Zdíky are administrative parts of Bujanov.

History

The first written mention of Bujanov is from 1347.[2]

Bujanov was the site of the 2003 Nažidla bus accident, which killed 20 people.[3]
