Central District (Shahrud County)
The Central District of Shahrud County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان شاهرود) is in Semnan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Shahrud.[3]

History
After the 2011 National Census, the village of Ruyan was elevated to the status of the city of Rudiyan.[4]
