Youth career

Pejičić is a native of Slovenia and began his career playing in the youth teams of ND Bilje, before being spotted by Serie A club Udinese, with whom he then played. Pejičić was described in the youth teams as "looking like a veteran already" at 15 years old,[2] striking up a partnership with fellow Udinese youngster Simone Pafundi in the youth teams. At that time, Pejičić was garnering interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs, especially Ajax,[3] as reported by Fabrizio Romano.[4]

Club career

Pejičić signed his first professional contract with Udinese in July 2023,[5] with the contract running until June 2026, despite fierce interest from other clubs.

He made his first team debut on 1 November 2023, in a Coppa Italia match at home to Cagliari, coming on as a substitute for Etienne Camara in a 2-1 loss,[6] with Udinese coach Gabriele Cioffi commenting on the maturity of his performance stating that 'he (Pejičić) is only 16, but he played like he is 30'.[7]

International career

Pejičić has represented Slovenia at two levels, U15, and U17. He scored his first international goal for the U17 team in a 4-2 win against Serbia, scoring in the 4th minute.[8]
