Erub Island, Queensland

Erub Island is a locality in the Torres Strait Island Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] The locality contains only Darnley Island (also known as Erub Island). In the 2021 census, Erub Island had a population of 326 people.[1]

In the 2021 census, Erub Island had a population of 326 people.[1]

Education

Tagai State College operates across 17 campuses on the Torres Strait Islands. The Darnley Island has a primary (Early Childhood-6) campus of Tagai State College (9.5952°S 143.7601°E / -9.5952; 143.7601 (Tagai State College - Darnley Island Campus)).[4][5]
