Jarrow and Gateshead East (UK Parliament constituency)

Jarrow and Gateshead East is a constituency of the House of Commons in the UK Parliament.[1] The constituency is scheduled to be created by the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, and will first be contested in the 2024 general election.[2]

History

The seat will be formed from the existing Jarrow constituency, excluding the Cleadon and East Boldon ward, with the addition of the Felling, and Windy Nook and Whitehills wards from Gateshead.[3]
