Jask County

Jask County (Persian: شَهرِستانِ جاسک) is in Hormozgan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Jask.[3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the county's population was 75,769 in 16,667 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 52,882 people in 11,819 households,[5] by which time Bashagard District had been separated from the county to become Bashagard County.[6] At the 2016 census, the county's population was 58,884 in 15,211 households.[2]

After the census, the village of Lirdaf was elevated to the status of a city.[7]
