La Capelle-lès-Boulogne

La Capelle-lès-Boulogne (French pronunciation: [la kapɛl bulɔɲ], literally La Capelle near Boulogne) is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Hauts-de-France region of France.[3]

Geography

A forestry and farming village situated some 4 miles (6.4 km) east of Boulogne, at the junction of the N42 with the D234 and D237.

Transport

The Chemin de fer de Boulogne à Bonningues (CF de BB) opened a station at La Capelle-Lès-Boulogne on 22 April 1900.[4] Passenger services were withdrawn on 31 December 1935.[5] They were reinstated in November 1942.[6] The CF de BB closed in 1948.[7]
