Club career
In the week of 20 June 2019, Brassier signed a professional contract with Rennes and immediately went on loan with Valenciennes.[2] He made his professional debut with Valenciennes in a 1–1 Ligue 2 tie with Nancy on 2 August 2019.[3]
In 2020, Brassier signed for Brest on loan with an option to buy if the club stayed up in Ligue 1.[4] On 13 March 2021, he scored his first Ligue 1 goal in a 3–1 defeat against Marseille.[5] His loan deal was made permanent after Brest secured safety on the final matchday of the season.[6] In the 2023–24 season, he contributed to his club's impressive campaign,[7] as they secured a third-place finish in the league and first ever qualification to the UEFA Champions League.[8]
International career
Born in France, Brassier is of Togolese descent.[9] He is a youth international for France.
