Lubian
Lubian [ˈlubjan] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Grunwald, within Ostróda County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) south-east of Gierzwałd (the gmina seat), 28 km (17 mi) south-east of Ostróda, and 40 km (25 mi) south-west of the regional capital Olsztyn. It is situated on the eastern shore of Lake Lubiańskie in the historic region of Masuria.

Lubian was founded by Polish people, and as of 1599 its population was solely Polish.[2]
