Papás por conveniencia

Papás por conveniencia is an upcoming Mexican telenovela produced by Rosy Ocampo for TelevisaUnivision.[1] It stars José Ron and Ariadne Díaz.[2] It is set to premiere on Las Estrellas on 21 October 2024.[3]

Production

Development

In December 2023, it was reported that Rosy Ocampo had started pre-production on her next telenovela and that it would be unrelated to the Vencer franchise, which Ocampo had produced from 2020 to 2023.[7] On 26 February 2024, Ocampo announced that the title of the telenovela would be Papás por conveniencia.[8][1] Filming began on 24 April 2024.[9]

Casting

On 28 February 2024, José Ron and Ariadne Díaz were announced in the lead roles.[2] On 8 March 2024, Ernesto Laguardia, Daniela Luján, Martín Ricca, María Chacón, Miguel Martínez and Jonathan Becerra joined the cast.[10] On 18 March 2024, África Zavala and Ferdinando Valencia were announced as the antagonists of the plot.[11]
