Peter Mponda
Peter Mponda[1] (born 4 September 1981) is a retired Malawian association footballer. He played as a central defender and was the captain of the Malawi national team. He is currently the head coach for the Black Leopards in the South African National First Division.

In November 2019, he was appointed coach of the Malawi national under-20 football team.[2]
Managerial career
In the summer of 2023, he returned to his former Black Leopards club as an assistant coach under head coach Alejandra Dorado.[3][4] After several poor results, the club decided to elevate Mponda to the head coach position on September 28, 2023.[5]
