Qaleh Now District

Qaleh Now District (Persian: بخش قلعه نو) is in Ray County, Tehran province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Qaleh Now-e Khaleseh.[3]

History

After the 2011 National Census, Qaleh Now Rural District was separated from Kahrizak District in the establishment of Qaleh Now District, which was divided into two rural districts.[3]

After the 2016 census, the village of Qaleh Now-e Khaleseh was elevated to the status of a city.[4]
