History
The club was founded in 1925, when the football department of the Spiel- und Turnverein "Up ewig ungedeelt" Rugenbergen became independent. The club is affiliated with the Hamburger Fußball-Verband and has played in the Oberliga Hamburg[2][3] since 2007. In addition to football, the club also offers the sports of badminton, basketball, gymnastics, karate, athletics, dance and table tennis, as well as general sports medicine, with the rhönrad discipline being particularly noteworthy. The club won the Uwe Seeler Förderpreis (Uwe Seeler Promotion Prize), worth 5,000 euros, on December 28, 2010.
