In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Sainte-Sophie-de-Lévrard had a population of 704 living in 357 of its 415 total private dwellings, a change of -3.4% from its 2016 population of 729. With a land area of 84.05 km2 (32.45 sq mi), it had a population density of 8.4/km2 (21.7/sq mi) in 2021.[4]
