Samarin District
Samarin District (Persian: بخش ثمرین) is in Ardabil County, Ardabil province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Samarin.[3]

History
After the 2006 National Census, Gharbi Rural District was separated from the Central District in the establishment of Samarin District, which was divided into two rural districts.[3]
In March 2018, the village of Samarin was elevated to the status of a city.[4]
