Shal akyn District
Shal akyn (Kazakh: Шал ақын ауданы, Şal aqyn audany) is a district of North Kazakhstan Region in northern Kazakhstan. The administrative center of the district is the town of Sergeyev.[3] Population: 20,939 (2013 estimate);[2] 23,095 (2009 Census results);[4] 32,375 (1999 Census results).[4]

Geography
The Sergeyev Dam and lake Kishi Torangyl are located in the district.[5]
