Hertha BSC

On 15 June 2021, Serdar signed a five-year contract with Hertha BSC.[6] He made his debut in the DFB-Pokal first round against SV Meppen,as Hertha advanced following a late goal in a 1–0 victory.[7] His league debut followed on 15 August in a 3–1 loss away against FC Köln.[8] He tested positive for SARS‑CoV‑2 amid its pandemic.[9]
