Will Tizzard

Will Tizzard (born 5 November 2002) is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Scottish Championship club Queen's Park.

Club career

At the end of the 2020–21 season, Tizzard was awarded Scholar of the Year at Southampton.[1] In July 2021, he signed his first professional contract with Southampton.[2] On 31 August 2022, Tizzard joined National League South club Chippenham Town on loan until January 2023.[3] He rejoined Chippenham Town on loan in January 2023 for the remainder of the 2022–23 season.[4][5] He was released by Southampton at the end of the 2022–23 season.[6]

On 28 June 2023, Tizzard joined Scottish Championship side Queen's Park on a three-year contract.[7] He made his debut for the club on 15 July 2023 in a 0–0 draw with East Fife in the Scottish League Cup, with East Fife winning 4–2 on penalties.[8] On 2 September 2023, Tizzard was given a red card during a 3–2 defeat to Raith Rovers for a foul on Jack Hamilton.[9] An appeal into the dismissal was unsuccessful.[10]
