Ramhormoz County
Ramhormoz County (Persian: شهرستان رامهرمز)[lower-alpha 1] is in Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Ramhormoz.[3]

History
After the 2006 National Census, Haftkel District was separated from the county in the establishment of Haftkel County.[4]
After the 2011 National Census, Abolfares and Soltanabad Rural Districts were separated from the Central District in the establishment of Abolfares District, Rud Zard District, and Soltanabad District, each with two rural districts and no cities at the time.[5]
After the 2016 census, the villages of Bavaj,[6] Rud Zard-e Mashin,[7] and Soltanabad were elevated to city status.[6]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 census, the county's population was 120,194 in 25.359 households.[8] The following census in 2011 counted 105,418 people in 25,313 households.[9] The 2016 census measured the population of the county as 113,776 in 30,591 households.[2]
