History

On February 1, 2024, UCI Health which is part of the University of California, Irvine agreed to purchase Los Alamitos Medical Center from Tenet Healthcare.[1][2][3][4]

On March 27, 2024, UCI Health officially took over the management of Los Alamitos Medical Center[5][6][7] and rebranded it to UCI Health - Los Alamitos.
